Ready or not, it's time to talk holidays! So mark your calendars for two of the most popular events happening at the Pantry:
Turkey Day - November 24, 2019
Toy Day - December 15, 2019
This year we are hoping to have the community support in the following areas.
Turkey Day:
We will distribute 600 turkeys during our annual turkey day and would like to have all the turkeys in house by Nov. 15th. Please consider donating a frozen turkey. We have the space so if you have the turkey you can drop it off anytime at The Pantry at 133 Queen Anne Road in Harwich. While you are purchasing your turkey please decide if you could donate a frozen pie as well. This is a welcome addition to what we distribute; and we would like to provide every household with a pie to go with their dinner.
Toy Day:
We will distribute toys, pajamas and games to 1,000 client children this year. This year we are asking for donations of family games (think Monopoly, Parcheesi etc) and puzzles with 500 pieces or more. In addition, this year we are looking for help with the gift cards to give to our older children (13-14 year olds). We are looking for gift cards to the Cape Cod Mall or Amazon if you have the means.
