Programs at The Family Pantry of Cape Cod

We provide food to anyone in need with no geographic restrictions. Families/Individuals are welcome to return to the Pantry every 10 days for food and clothing.  The Family Pantry is a choice pantry which means that the food is not pre-bagged. Each client selects the products  they want. A large selection of healthy foods including frozen meats, cheese, eggs, fresh produce as well as the canned and packaged food products are offered.

We provide a selection of clothing in sizes infant through adult.  Some limits apply.

Formerly known as Food Stamps.  The Pantry has volunteers trained to apply for SNAP assistance for  clients through an online program.  This is an ancillary service and helps the clients to have the ability to purchase other foods that may not be available in the Pantry and to do so conveniently while at the Pantry.

Several volunteers ae trained to fill out the paperwork to apply for fuel assistance (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) through the South Shore Community Action Council.  This also is an ancillary service  provided to make it convenient for clients to apply while at the pantry.  Please call the Pantry at 508-432-6519 to make an appointment to work with a volunteer on the application. Click here to view the Fuel Assistance Guide and the application requirements.

The Mobile Pantry partners with the Councils on Aging in the towns of Brewster, Dennis, Chatham, Eastham, Orleans and Provincetown in order to provide healthy foods for the Cape's senior citizens.  Each town has a distribution once a month on a designated Wednesday or Friday.  To sign up please call the Council on Aging outreach worker for more information.
