The Allen Harbor Yacht Club's "Summer Thanks for Giving" charity event was held on Saturday July 15th. The event raised over $21,000 dollars to benefit the Family Pantry of Cape Cod. The donation will make it possible for the Pantry to provide over 84,000 meals to those in need across the Cape Cod Community. The event included a silent and live auction, a wine raffle and a general raffle consisting of over 88 items.

The Yacht Club has been a long time supporter of the Family Pantry, hosting the winter "Thanks for Giving" charity event since 1989. Family Pantry executive director Christine Menard stated "we appreciate this event so much, the summer is a quiet time for donations and this will really make a difference".
